Feile 2017 - Further Details

Feile 2017 is getting close and we are delighted to be hosting Ballyheigue GAA from Kerry. They will be arriving at lunch time on Friday week for the Féile competition. We hope to give them a warm Dunnamaggin welcome. As many people as possible are encouraged to come over to the pitch and meet them when they arrive. Refreshments will be available at the pitch.  On Friday evening both Dunnamaggin and Ballyheigue will be going to Glenmore to play two games against Glenmore and Fingallians of Dublin. These games are at 5 and 6 o' clockOn Saturday morning Dunnamaggin will play Ballyheigue at 11 in Dunnamaggin. As many people as possible are encouraged to come to the pitch and show their support. Again there will be refreshments after the game. That afternoon Dunnamaggin and Ballyheigue will travel to Bagnelstown to play another game. On Saturday evening food will be served in the school hall at 8 o clock to the players and adults from Ballyheigue as well as those from Dunnamaggin. The evening will conclude with a DJ in the hall. On Sunday morning Ballyheigue will either return to Kerry or travel to Kilkenny to play a semi final. We hope they enjoy their time in Dunnamaggin.


The Féile na Gael under 14 hurling competition this year is taking place in Kilkenny, Wexford and Carlow on the weekend of June 16th to 18th.  Over 8000 players are participating in the event with 40 finals being played on Sunday. For the first time in over 30 years Dunnamaggin will be a host club.
