SHRUGHAWADDA PLAYERS  will stage their new play `Its the Real McCoy` from Jan 9th to Jan 12th 2018 in St Eoghan`s Centre, Kilmoganny at 8.00 p.m. nightly. Admission €10 Concessions €7 – on Tuesday night only. Tickets are now available in the usual outlets.

KILMOGANNY BRIDGE CLUB: The results of Wednesday 13th December were: 1st: Nellie Lahart and Moira Hickey; 2nd: Paschal Grace & Ellen Delahunty; 3rd: Emer Wallace & Carmel O’Sullivan. Bridge takes place each Wednesday at 8.00 p.m. in St. Eoghan’s Centre, Kilmoganny. Christmas Prize night for members is on this Wednesday 20th December. Visitors are always welcome.


  


CHRISTMAS MASS TIMES in Dunamaggan Parish are as follows: On Christmas Eve: in St. Eoghan’s Church, Kilmoganny at 7.00 p.m. and in St. Leonard’s Church, Dunamaggan at 9.00 p.m. On Christmas Day: in St. Eoghan’s Church, Kilmoganny at 9.30 a.m. and at 11.00 a.m. in St. Leonard’s Church, Dunamaggan.


 


KELLS HANDBALL CLUB: The Bill Duggan 40 x 20 Memorial Doubles Handball Tournament was held in Broadford, Co. Limerick. Patrick Funchion and Peter Funchion (Kells) were invited to attend. They defeated Darragh Daly/Sean Kerr (Tyrone) but lost out in the semi-final to the eventual winners Paul Brady/Michael Finnegan (Cavan) in the tie break.


In the Adult Leinster 40 x 20 championships in the Junior B Singles Anthony Martin (Kells) beat Troy Flanagan (Meath); Diarmuid Burke (Kells) beat Eamon Brennan (Laois) and David Kenny (Wexford) beat Gavin O’Keeffe (Kells); in the Junior C Singles Colin McKenna (Kells) lost out to Darren Darcy (Carlow) and Michael Power (Kells) lost out to David Stanners (Wexford).
