L’ARCHE CELEBRATES 40TH ANNIVERSERY in Ireland this year will take place this Saturday in Kilmoganny. Join in the celebrations in the afternoon, mass at 7.00 p.m. in St. Eoghan’s Church and a garden party in L’Arche, Kilmoganny after mass. The first L’Arche foundation in Ireland was in Kilmoganny. Moorefield House needs renovations at present and any donations or fundraising for the community would be very welcome. Contact 085 – 8584492.

THE ANNUAL MASS OF HEALING will take place at the Grotto, Baurscoob Cross, Dunamaggan on Sunday next at 11.00 a.m. All those attending are requested to obey the stewards. The sacrament of healing will be administered during mass.


 


FIRST HOLY COMMUNION was celebrated last Saturday 19th May for six children from St. Eoghan’s School, Kilmoganny during 12.00 noon mass in St. Eoghan’s Church. Those who received their First Holy Communion were: Ivana Cahill, James Kenneally, David Kenneally, Aaron McCormack, Amy Noonan, and Freyna Norman. All the children took an active part in the celebration by presenting symbols and gifts, reading the readings and prayers of the faithful. The celebrant, Rev. Nicholas Flavin P.P. welcomed all to the celebration and thanked the parents and families for preparing the children for their special day. He also thanked the teachers and school choir for their great work.
