KILMOGANNY BRIDGE CLUB: The results of Wednesday 30th May were: 1st: Eileen Grace & Theresa Walsh; 2nd: Nicholas Flavin & Philip Brennan; 3rd: Pascal Grace & Ellen Delahunty. The end of season prize night for members is on this Wednesday 6th June. Bridge continues in St. Eoghan’s Centre, Kilmoganny on Wednesday nights throughout the summer at 8.00 p.m. Visitors are always welcome and partners will be provided for any visitors.

ST. BRIGID’S SCHOOL, KELLS received its ninth Green Flag and held a flag-raising ceremony on Friday last June 1st at 12.30 p.m. As part of the celebrations there was face-painting, balloons and activities for the children and there was a bicycle-powered smoothie maker in action. 


 


ST. EOGHAN’S SCHOOL, KILMOGANNY recently received its Digital School of Distinction Award. Well done to all concerned. It demonstrates how the school is embracing ICT and using it to enhance the children’s learning. 


A validator will be visiting the school in the coming weeks regarding the Active Flag Application. The school is looking forward to his visit and are confident it will receive its Flag.
