KILMOGANNY BRIDGE CLUB: The results of Wednesday 1st August were: 1st: Alma O’Neill & Philip Brennan; 2nd; Nicholas Flavin & Gerry Fitzpatrick; 3rd: Nellie Lahart & Ellen Delahunty. Bridge continues in St. Eoghan’s Centre, Kilmoganny on Wednesday nights throughout the summer at 8.00 p.m. Visitors are always welcome and partners will be provided for any visitors.

VINTAGE RUN: A Vintage Tractor Run, which will include Tractors, Cars and Bikes, in aid of St. Joseph’s Care Home for the Elderly, Kilmoganny will be run by Mooncoin Vintage Club on Sunday 9th Septe3mber. Registration from 11.00 a.m. takes place in the Piltown Show Grounds with the Run beginning at 12.30p.m making its way to Kilmoganny. Refreshments etc will be available in Dunphy’s, Kilmoganny. GALWAY SUCCESS: Katie O’Farrell, from Kilmoganny was succesful on the Willie Mullins Trained Low Sun in the featured race on Saturday last at the Galway Festival, The Galway Shopping Centre Handicap Hurdle.
