KEVIN’S BED DRAMA ON STAGE IN KILMOGANNY; The drama takes place this week in St. Eoghan’s Centre, Kilmoganny from Tuesday 24 – Friday 27th January 2017 inclusive. The presentation is a comedy by Bernard Farrell called “Kevin’s Bed”.  Tickets at €10 are available from Jackie Kenneally P.O., 051- 648001, Pete Moran 051 – 648283 or Maura Dunphy 051 – 648252.


KILMOGANNY BRIDGE CLUB: Last Wednesday 18th January was an evening of learning from hands played the previous week and 100 questions on what should be known. Bridge takes place each Wednesday at 8.00 p.m. in St. Eoghan’s Centre, Kilmoganny. Visitors are always welcome and partners will be provided if necessary. There will be no Bridge on this Wednesday 25th January as the play “Kevin’s Bed” is being staged.

KELLS HANDBALL CLUB:  In the Adult Leinster 40 x 20 championship in the Senior Singles Patrick Funchion (Kells) was defeated by Eoin Kennedy (Dublin) and in the Ladies Junior B Singles Aoife Walsh (Kells) lost out to Margaret Purcell (Windgap).


 


In the Juvenile 40 x 20 doubles championship Kells participants were in the Boys U 12 Doubles Joseph Prendergast and Adam O’Sullivan, in the U 13 Doubles Harry Delaney and Emmet Nolan, in the U 14 Doubles Ryan Grace and Ciaran Phelan, in the U 15 Doubles Matthew O’Sullivan and Ciaran Phelan, in the U 16 Doubles Mikey Prendergast and Ryan Grace who were beaten in the final and in the U 17 Doubles Colin McKenna and Kevin Murray who were also beaten in the final; in the Girls U 12 Doubles Katie Grace and Sal Ryan, in the U 13 Doubles Orla Buckley and Ailise Mahony, in the U 15 Doubles Lauren Grace and Olivia Mahony who won the County title defeating Windgap in the Final, in the U 16 Doubles Laura Condon and Rachel Doherty and in the U 17 Doubles Ciara Walsh and Meg Ryan. Well done to all on your participation.

The comments and feedback received were super and the event has now been shortlisted for the Adventure race of the year with Running Ireland.
