The Dunnamaggin Weekend Activities were a great success. Thanks to all who made cakes, donated raffle prizes and came to the Cake Sale after mass on Sunday. Music in Ray's on Friday by Richie Cahill and John Joe Farrell will take place again on Friday August 23rd from 10pm. The next Community Gathering is on Saturday August 10th from 11.30am to 1pm. The Community Gatherings are open to everyone from all parts of the parish. All are welcome to to come along for Tea - Coffee - Cake and Chat.

Kells Handball Club Report to July 21st 2019: In the Minor Hardball Doubles All Ireland Final Harry Delaney (Kells) teamed up with Billy O’Neill (Clogh) and defeated Sean Barron (Windgap)/James Love (Clogh) in 2 games. Congratulations and very well done.


The Juvenile County 60 x 30 championships have commenced. Representing Kells in Boys U13 Singles Noah Manogue overcame tough opposition and defeated Niall Drennan (Galmoy) in the Final; in BU14 singles Cathal Buckley lost out to Michael Brennan (Clogh); in Boys U15 singles Noah Gilmore lost out to Joe Healy (Kilfane); in BU16 singles Harry Delaney lost out in the semi final to Kyle Jordan (Kilfane); in U17 singles was Steven Doheny; in the GU17 Singles Lauren Grace lost out to Hannah Clifford (Talbots Inch). Congrats and well done to you all.



Annual Dunnamaggin GAA Golf Classic The Dunnamaggin Gaa Annual Golf Classic will be held this coming weekend Friday 26th & Saturday 27th July in Callan Golf Club. 'Keeping it Delightful' Kilmoganny Community Coffee Morning: Tuesday 30th July 10.30 am. to 1.00 pm. Kilmoganny Community Centre. Everyone is welcome. Have a clear out and donate your unwanted delightful items to the recycle table and pick up the things you would like to take home with you.
Take part in the 'Snakes and Ladders' or 'Ludo' challenge or put in a few pieces in the community jigsaw.
Donations accepted and all money raised will be given to the Kilmoganny L'Arche Community.
Come along and help to build community.


Kcat, Callan, Co.Kilkenny. A mid-career retrospective art exhibition by Mary Cody. An open invitation to Mary's friends and neighbours in Kilmoganny to the formal opening of her work. Friday 2nd August 1-3pm at Kcat Arts Centre.
The exhibition continues 3rd-18th August 2019. Open daily Monday to Sunday 12-4pm.
