New year starts this Sat 28th. U11 Hurling Our U11 had a mini blitz last Saturday May 28th in the pitch playing 3 games against a Wexford team Crossabeg Ballymurn, Graignamanagh & Windgap. A huge well done to all the players they played 3 great games & their commitment was great from start to finish . Winning 2 from 3 was great Also thanks to our 2 referees Sean Lawton & Conor Alyward & thanks to the u13s for doing umpires.Thanks to all the parents for helping out with the tea & sandwiches & all the goodies . You all put on a great spread & the food was delicious.

Dunnamaggin Development Group Madges Garden was bathed in sunshine last Sunday for our second market this year. Bwetty Holden gave a demonstration of flower arranging and all the beautiful arrangements were raffled afterwards. Another great day connecting with neighbours and friends. The last Sunday of every month sees Madges Garden host a market. See you all in June.


Kilkenny Volunteer Centre A Meet and Greet takes place in Callan this Thursday 2nd of June . Along with Kilkenny PPN we are hosting a chance to meet with both services to see how we can support any local organisations in Callan and the surrounding areas. Everyone is welcome to come on Thursday 2nd of June at 7pm in the Kilkenny County Council Area Office , Prologue , Callan from 7pm -9pm


Barnstorm Theatre Company are looking for Front of House Volunteers to support them during their performances. This is a great opportunity to enjoy theatre and learn new skills. Mount Carmel Nursing Home are looking for Cycle Without Age Volunteers - Trishaw Pilot Do you enjoy cycling ? Would you like to support the centre to drive participants around the community? Don't worry full training is given and the Bike is Electric !! Kilkenny Welcome Team is back for 2022. Volunteers will be in pairs along the medieval mile in Kilkenny City and will offer a friendly smile to visitors and answer any questions they may have . Inclusive Camp Volunteers KRSP would love to hear from Volunteers who are interested in helping out with their Inclusive Summer Camps again this summer . This is also open to young volunteers aged 15yr- 18yrs. Cois Nore Link Volunteers Cois Nore offer invaluable support to people and their families who have had a cancer diagnosis. The Link Volunteer is at the very centre of what is offered within Cois Nore and will provide support to our service users from their very first visit. Each service user will have a Link Volunteer who checks in with them on a regular basis, links them to information about their diagnosis and signposts to our professional services such as talk and touch therapies.
