U21 South 1/4 Vs Graignamanagh

U21 Hurling
On Saturday evening last the U21 hurlers contested the South quarter final Vs Graignamanagh in Dunnamaggin. The home side were first off the mark with some excellent points from Ronan Coffey (2) and Michael Cody before Graig could respond with a point. Dunnamaggin were however starting to exert pressure on their opposition all over the field and John Fitzpatrick (4), Luke fitzpatrick and Michael Cody added points before Graig responded again with a point. Dunnamaggin Continued to add points as they were gaining advantage all over the field to lead them in at half time Dunnamaggin 0:13 Graignamanagh 0:4.
Dunnamaggin killed the game off in the first few mins of the second half when Luke Fitz and Andrew Fitzpatrick added further points before the onrushing John Fitz collected a perfectly placed ball from Ronan to rattle the net. Ronan then decided to bag a goal for himself from the next ball in to add further misery onto Graig. Dunnamaggin continued to exert their advantage for the remainder of the half, scoring some great points, one in particular from Darragh O'Keeffe was particularly impressive,Chris Keane added a third goal towards the finish in this one sided encounter.
