The Kilmoganny footballers played their final game of the league against Dicksboro in Palmerstown on Saturday afternoon.
It was Dicksboro who started better scoring 1:02 without reply. Kilmoganny got a point back through William Hughes. Dicksboro got two more points to go 1:04 to 0:1, before Colin Herity then scored a good point following good passing through Sean Connery and Kenny Moore. Dicksboro then pointed before half time to send them in on a half time score of 1:5 to 0:03.
Dicksboro opened the second half with a point. Then followed a purple patch for Kilmoganny with Darren Fitzpatrick getting a point from play, Kieran one from a free, Darren getting another point from play, followed by 2 points from frees by Kieran leaving score at 1:07 to 0:8 with about 6 minutes to go. However it was Dicksboro were to have the last say by getting the last point winning on a score line of 1:8 to 0:8. Despite this loss Kilmoganny are still top of the league table.
