Launch of Strategic Plan

DUNANAGGAN HURLING CLUB LAUNCHED ITS Strategic PLAN last Friday 22nd March in St. Leonard’s Hall, Dunamaggan. County Board Chairman, Ned Quinn, launched the five year Club Plan. Ned Quinn in his address complemented the club on its detailed Club Plan. He also complemented the Club on its contribution to Kilkenny Hurling and noted in particular the presence of three players on last September’s All Ireland winning team, William Phelan winning his first medal, David Herity his fourth medal and Noel Hickey on winning a record ninth medal. This record which he shares with fellow Kilkenny men Henry Shefflin and Noel Skeehan.  Club Chairman, John Hickey, gave an inspiring address to the large gathering in the Hall and thanked all who worked so hard in developing the Plan and all those who in any way contribute to the Club. He had a special word of thanks for Mary Moylan and her team who provided the catering on the night. Dennis Walsh who chaired the Committee gave a presentation of the main items in the plan which covers all aspects of club life and development. He also stressed that the Plan is a living Plan which will evolve and develop. John Buggy, County Board, who attended and facilitated the first planning meeting, complemented the Club on its prompt production of the Plan since that meeting. Stephen Gilmore was thanked for his design and layout of the Plan in printed format.
