U16 League Semi Final

The U16 team contested the league semi final against James Stephen on Sunday morning last in Danesfort. Dunnamaggin started the game well and through a goal from Luke Fitzpatrick and points from Aaron Doherty (2) were the better team in the first half and lead 1:2 to 3 points at half time. It was James Stephens who took the initiative in the second half and scored points each time after Dunnamaggin missed two frees this put them right back in contention. James Stephens pressed on from there and got the goal they needed. John Fitzpatrick scored a point to keep Dunnamaggin in contention but it was James Stephens who ran out 1:03 to 1:07 winners. The team was Morgan Thomas, Victor Costello, Eoghan Kearney, Brian Farrell, Jack Brett, Michael Cody, Stephen Lawlor, Ronan Coffey, Aaron Doherty, John Fitzpatrick, Chris Keane, Dara Keane, Conor Lawlor, Conor Fennelly, Luke Fitzpattrick, Sub used:- Rory Lodge for Conor Lawlor, Roy Cullen for Luke Fitzpatrick, Greg o’ Donnell for Rory Lodge.
